A new Independent Tenants’ Organisation is being set up to provide an independent voice for tenants of Gateshead Council and the Gateshead Housing Company.
It will be run by and for tenants, and will work to promote the views of tenants and local groups.

There are lots of decisions to make about the shape this organisation will take – what should it look like, who will run it, what will it do, and how will it be funded?

Customer Consultation
The final consultation process is under way. We’re are conducting a consultation questionnaire throughout March, April and May 2011, to help shape the new panel. Information on the tenants panel and the questionnaire is available to complete online or send us your contact details and we will send you a copy out.
